Farewell to our Employees: Joelle Michel

Joelle Michel (center front, black cardigan) worked for the St. Bernard Port for 18 years. We appreciate her dedication to the port.

We are sad to lose our Administrative Secretary, Joelle Michel, who put in 18 stellar years for the St. Bernard Port, Harbor and Terminal District. Joelle started as a Security Access Control Personnel after Hurricane Katrina, then transitioned to our receptionist role. She then climbed the corporate ladder to become our Administrative Secretary/Head of HR all while being a devoted wife and mother. We will miss her wit, refreshing personality, and her seamless ability to work well with others. Congratulations and good luck on the next journey of your career, Joelle!
