Public Notice

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Article 7, Section 23(C) of the Constitution and R.S. 47:1705(B) that a public hearing of the St. Bernard Port, Harbor and Terminal District in St. Bernard Parish will be held at its regular meeting place in the Conference Room located at 100 Port Boulevard, 3rd Floor, Chalmette, La. on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at 12:00 noon to consider levying additional or increased millage rates without further voter approval or adopting the adjusted millage rates after reassessment and rolling forward to rates not to exceed the prior year's maximum. The estimated amount of tax revenues to be collected in the next tax year from the increased millage is $1,084,277.67 and the amount of increase in taxes attributable to the millage increase is $11,850.03.

As of July 1, 2004, all persons entering port facilities are required to present a valid driver's license or picture ID to security personnel.
Failure to comply will result in denied access or removal from the facility. Please insure that your ID is available prior to approaching port entrance.
